It all starts with the microphone. The ability to capture the nuance, articulation and phrasing and to accurately reproduce it.
This microphone (Neumann CMV 563) is a World War II vintage tube microphone. "The Bottle" microphone as it was known utilizes the same capsule as the famed U-47, and is just one example of how we incorporate the best in old world designs with the latest generation in digital production.
Of course no single microphone is perfect for all occasions, which is why we utilize a vast assortment of microphones from Neumann, Sennheiser, Shure, Heil and others.
